Telehealth

A video visit is a visit.

Booked on the same calendar, by the same rules, with the same reminders and the same record of who did what.

On the same calendar

A telehealth visit is a visit type, like a follow-up or an annual physical. It has a length, a provider and a place on the calendar, and the front desk books it the way it books everything else.

  • The same open times, the same booking rules, and the same history on the visit.
  • The same reminders, sent only to patients who have agreed, with the same link to confirm, move or cancel.
  • A coverage mark on the calendar, like every other visit.

The video itself

Video is set up with each practice. Ask us, and we will tell you in writing how a visit would work for yours, and what it costs, before you decide.

Common questions

Is a video visit booked differently?

No. It is a visit type on the same calendar, with its own length, and it is booked, moved and cancelled like any other visit.

Is coverage checked for a video visit?

The same way as for any other visit, and it carries its coverage mark on the calendar. The check reports what the payer returns. It does not decide whether a plan pays for video.

What does it cost?

Ask us. Video is set up with each practice, and we will give you the price in writing before you decide. The plans are on the pricing page.
